The Mission of
Brethren Benefit Trust
The Church of the Brethren Benefit Trust was established as the Pension Board in 1943 to set aside retirement dollars for pastors and missionaries. Sixty years later, BBT provides
- insurance and pension benefits for pastors and employees of congregations, districts, and church agencies;
- ministries that undergird the financial health and well-being of individuals and organizations; and
- investment and information technology services for the wider church.
